This is Meet A BFF, the series where we ask loyal BFF holders across our BFF Bracelet and You collections to share what a day in their life — or multiple days — looks like as a Web3 enthusiast with interests and expertise outside of cryptoland as well. Name: Jennifer Justice
Location: Tribeca, New York City
Web2 Jennifer: I spent 17 years as JAY Z’s personal entertainment attorney and the EVP, Strategic Marketing & Biz Dev at Roc Nation. During this entire time, I was very passionate about gender equality and closing the gender wealth gap (32% - yikes). After making money for men by day and trying to overthrow the patriarchy at night, I decided it was time for me to devote my career to use that vast experience and help women get rich. So I started The Justice Dept.
Web3 Jennifer: Still helping women get rich but now also in Web3!

6:30 am
I have a very busy morning because I'm hosting around 60 women for an investor breakfast for one of my clients, West-bourne. West-bourne was born to create a go-to brand for plant-powered and planet positive pantry staples like granola, avocado oil, pancake mixes - with the least impact on our environment. I need to get ready, look presentable and still get my children up and get them to school - all without making an entire mess of my apartment.
7:15 AM
I'm showered and ready to go. Now it's time to get my children up and ready to go. Start making them breakfast. The easiest is possible. Smoothies (packed with everything they would never eat) and Croissant toast - it’s a thing. I also start making my kids lunches, but I'm careful not to mess up my kitchen since my kitchen island is full of about 60 bottles of avocado oil from West-bourne, as well as all their other amazing items such as their coconut Crumble and house granola.
8:20 AM
I start reminding my children over and over and over (my 9-year-old boy / girl twins Jack and Nico) and over and over and over again - to put their shoes and socks on, brush their teeth, and grab their backpacks because we need to get out of the house.
8:26 AM
Out the door and on our way on the three block walk to their school.
8:40 AM
Arrived back at my apartment to find my co-host, Annie Evans from Dream Ventures already waiting outside with the last-minute provisions needed for the party - ice for the cold brew.
8:50 AM
Camilla Marcus, the founder of West-bourne, arrives along with some other early arrivals.
9:00 AM
A cavalcade of stylish, impressive and successful women start entering the apartment. Each grabs their cold brew and begins tasting all the amazing food provided by West-bourne.
9:45 AM
Introductions begin. It is an amazing event and so well attended beyond our expectations. We begin the Q&A and everyone has such amazing questions and tips to add about a product line and sustainability that it blows us away and the excitement around the brand is beyond our wildest dreams.
10:45 AM
People slowly start trickling out and my kitchen island that was once devoured by all the products is now empty as everyone is excited to try everything that West-bourne makes. We take the last few selfies / photos so everyone knows we were there of course which include tote bags from my podcast, Takin Care of Lady Business.
11:05 AM
I'm finally alone back in my apartment which was buzzing with excitement and only moments ago. I start checking the hundred emails that have accumulated that morning. The good news is that breakfast doesn't have a lot of mess, so the cleanup is minimal and thankfully I've hired my amazing bartender/Coffee Pourer, Viera, to help out.
12:00 PM
I grab a quick bite to eat. In other words, some leftover yogurt and granola from our amazing breakfast since I of course didn't get to eat anything and finish reviewing the emails from the morning.
1:00 PM
Call with my editor regarding my upcoming book, my companion piece to Takin Care of Lady Business: How to Build the Matriarchy. I have a lot of work to do on it and a lot of follow-up from some guests but I'm excited that it is moving forward as quickly as it is.
3:00 PM
Time for my check-in with my publicists, Nude Nation, Sophie and Megan, to discuss upcoming podcast appearances and who I’m having on mine. They have some exciting news from a very big podcast that has said they want me as a guest! Stay tuned!
4:30 PM
Finish up some time sensitive work and realize that I'm hosting Taco Tuesday for a couple of hours and I have yet to buy any of the provisions at the supermarket or picked up the birthday cake for my sister whose birthday it is and is visiting from Seattle. However, before I can leave, my kids come home and my daughter, in particular, reminds me that the one thing that I keep forgetting to get to the supermarket I have forgotten yet two times so thankfully she gets to remind me a third. They also put in all their requests of what kind of cake and how much and if we can get cookies as well from Dwayne Park Patisserie. The answer is no.
5:30 PM
I get back and start cooking. However, I still have a few more calls to make. So make those while doing some prep. As I'm waiting for the remainder to cook while my kids are occupying themselves with their iPads, of course, I take a peek at CoinBase checking in on the Etherium merge, which, unfortunately, has not had the opposite effect than most people thought - the price of Ethereum actually went down instead of up. Obviously, time for a glass of wine. Six o'clock. Everyone started showing up for Taco Tuesday and the event I have a dinner I have every Tuesday with my niece and my chosen New York family and my kids. All in all, a very busy but perfect day!
