We are thrilled to share some incredible news. BFF is embarking on an exciting new journey and being acquired by none other than Boss Beauties, a brand we deeply admire and believe in.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in our mission to educate, connect and empower women in Web3 and create a massive community of friends learning together online and in real life (IRL). Boss Beauties shares this commitment, and together we’re poised to create an even more lasting business that will continue to serve our community.

What does this mean for the BFF community? It means access to an even wider range of content, resources and educational programming. Under the Boss Beauties umbrella, BFF will flourish with innovative collaborations and new partnership potential. Since BFF’s origin in January 2022, we have sought to connect our community to global opportunities, whether through physical gatherings, Discord channels, Twitter Spaces or metaverse events. We believe Boss Beauties is the right partner to expand these possibilities.

Reflecting on our early days, we have been proud to carve out a space for Web3 newcomers to learn about non-fungible tokens (NFTs), digital wallets and frontier tech. We gave away 8,444 Friendship Bracelets and minted the You PFP collection, helping to onboard first-time NFT holders and engage our community through more than 100,000 claimed perks from over 260 trusted partners. We launched BFF Discover as our original content studio for Web3 education after a survey of our community revealed that education was the single most sought-after factor for people wanting to enhance their skills and knowledge in the Web3 arena. 

Even during bear market conditions, the commitment of most BFFs to learning about Web3 and frontier tech like AI, generative art and digital fashion has remained strong. We’ve proudly shown up to meet that hunger and have included the expertise of diverse voices already making waves in the Web3 space. Over 200 articles have been penned by BFF contributors — passionate professionals with a shared mission to educate and empower their colleagues. We’ve also held over 200 Twitter Spaces with leaders and innovators propelling the space forward.

We want to express our gratitude to our You and Friendship Bracelet holders, along with anyone who has participated in an online or IRL event, hosted a workshop, joined a club, chatted in our Discord, sent us a DM, read our newsletter or shown up to a Twitter Space. Thank you for being a part of the BFF journey so far. BFF's story has been filled with remarkable achievements, and so will our next chapter. Rest assured, our values and commitment to empowering women in the realm of frontier tech remain unwavering.
